Delete your PingTab account

How to request deletion

Email support@pingtab.com from the email address on the account, with the subject Delete my PingTab account, and include your business or organization name.

We ask you to write from the account's own address so that nobody else can close your account. If you can no longer reach that mailbox, write to us anyway and we will verify you another way.

In the PingTab Operations app you can reach this page from Settings › Account › Delete account.

How long it takes

We acknowledge the request within 3 working days and complete it within 30 days. You will get an email when it is done. Deletion is final and cannot be reversed, so we will confirm with you once before we start.

What is deleted

• your name, email address, phone number, and password
• your sign-in sessions and the devices signed in to the account
• your push notification registrations, so the apps stop reaching your phone
• your membership of every organization you belong to

What happens to your business records

Bookings, leads, guests, drivers, and vehicles belong to the organization, not to a single member, so what happens to them depends on whether the organization still has anyone in it.

• If other members remain, the organization and its records stay with them. Only your membership and your personal details are removed.
• If you are the last member, the organization is closed and its operational records are deleted with it. If the organization has a booking site, it goes offline at the same time.

If you are an Owner and you want the organization to carry on without you, add or promote another Owner before you send the request.

What we have to keep

• Invoices and payment records, for as long as Indian tax and company law requires us to hold them. These are kept for accounting only and are not used to contact you.
• Copies inside encrypted backups, until those backups age out of their normal rotation, which takes up to 90 days. Backups are never used to restore a deleted account.

Deleting the app is not the same thing

Uninstalling the PingTab Operations app removes it from your phone but leaves your account and your organization's records untouched. Use the request above to close the account itself.
